  • $5.5 million + in cash and in-kind donations raised for IdeaFestival from 2006-2012. York Management helped the city of Louisville and GLI in the successful IdeaFestival move from Lexington to Louisville in 2005. YMI helped create the planning committee and community buy-in for the event, as well as adding the signature Taste of Innovation culinary networking/fundraising event during the festival.

  • Creation of the “Ryder Cup Experience” community events surrounding Louisville’s hosting of the Ryder Cup in 2008. York management handled the planning, fundraising and execution of the Soiree Under the Spires and assisted with The Cup Village and The Fightmaster Cup, helping Louisville set a new standard for community involvement and support for the Ryder Cup.

  • Created and currently run the Unbridled Eve Charity Gala.

  • Built the Julep Ball (formerly the Mint Jubilee), a first tier Derby event we created from scratch and work with on a completely pro-bono basis each year. Since the first event in 1997, it has netted over $1.8 million for cancer research, assisted Gilda’s Club Louisville in opening their doors and annually supported the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

  • Tripled attendance at the Women4Women luncheon, increased attendance from 400 to 1200 in two years and helped this organization increase its profit margin as it makes grants and runs programs benefiting women in Louisville.

  • Raised more than $1 million in sponsorships for the Inc. 500 conference in Louisville, led the effort that helped Louisville land this prestigious conference. York Management not only created the bid package for the event, we coordinated the planning committee and handled marketing, created ancillary events, some speaker selection, event logistics, cash and in-kind sponsorship.

  • Assisted in the creation of the Kentucky Life Science Organization (KLSO), an organization dedicated to promoting the development of Life Sciences companies and attracting top bioscientists to Kentucky. York Management coordinated a very successful BioKentucky trip to San Francisco, CA.

  • Managed the Great Midwest Venture Capital Conference in 2003, a mega event promoting business ideas from entrepreneurs from several states. We coordinated the planning committee, fundraising, marketing, speakers and logistics.

  • Assisted with Blessings in a Backpack fund and friend-raisers in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville, Blessings is a charity that supplies food each week in backpacks for children on the free lunch program. Created a silent auction, cocktail event, and publicity around the events.

  • Created first ever NFL Athletes Conference, a 3-day event in Dallas, TX, offering active and retired NFL athletes’ education seminars on everything from etiquette, personal finance, to spokesperson skills and more.

  • Trained employees in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, creating a specialized event and training program for management and hourly employees at Clarian Healthcare Partners in Indianapolis, IN and Mississippi.

  • Created and produce the Derby Prelude Parties in Los Angeles annually, event has grown from 40 attendees the first year to over 600 in 2013.

  • Doubled the net profit and increased profile of Zoom Group for the annual "Spring Zing" fundraiser.

  • Doubled both the amount of money raised and attendance for the Epilepsy Foundation of Ky Annual Fundraiser.
